All I have to say is… OH MY WORD! This is da bomb diggity! This quickly became a favorite in our household because it’s quick to make and provides delicious leftovers.
**This recipe is for the Air Fryer, but you could make this in the oven if you don’t have an air fryer**
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup bacon bits
- 4-5 ounces cream cheese
- 1/3 cup fresh jalapeƱos
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 medium to large chicken breasts
Instructions
- Cut 5 slits across the top of the chicken.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the bacon, softened cream cheese, and chopped jalapenos. Add 1/4 cup of the shredded cheese.
- Stuff the cream cheese mixture into the slits. Put any excess on top of the chicken breasts.
- Place chicken in the air fryer basket and set to Air Fry at 360 for 20-25 minutes. (Make sure chicken breasts are not touching.)
- When the timer goes off, open the air fryer and sprinkle the rest of the shredded cheese on top off the chicken and air fry for an additional 2 minutes.
